Overview
In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Unternehmenszweig von Vodafone Idea (Vi Business) und AWS integrierte AKOOL unsere Streaming-Avatar-Technologie in das IoT Innovation Lab von Vi in Mumbai. This cooperation shows how how our platform videos from ditional production pipelines in to a „live presence“, as the company can communicate authentischer, global and skalierbarer.
Die Herausforderung
Vi Business hatte das IoT Innovation Lab in Mumbai gegründet, das als Zentrum für gemeinsame Entwicklung, Prototyping und Zertifizierung von IoT-, Edge-AI-, 5G/4G/NB-IoT-Lösungen dienen sollte.
The target of labor: provide an eco systems, in the device manufacturers, startups and companies test real application cases, networks (2G to 5G + NB-IoT), and can certificate solutions for the market series.

Unsere Lösung
AKOOL hat seine Streaming-Avatar-Echtzeit-Videogenerierungsplattform in Zusammenarbeit mit der AWS-Cloud-/Edge-Infrastruktur und dem Netzwerkverbindungs-Backbone von Vi in die IoT Innovation Lab-Umgebung integriert.
The important elements:
- Avatar-Engine in Echtzeit: allows digital live avatars in production quality (our terminology for „digital real-time avatars“), die live erscheinen, sprechen, übersetzen und interagieren können.

- We have an own workflow station in the „Co-Creation Zone“ of the Labors, that is allows the engineers and designers of Vi, AWS and AKOOL, to iterated prototypes.
- With the Full-Stack Network simulation of the Labors (2G to 5G + NB-IoT), we tested the Avatar performance under different network conditions (latence, package variation) and replizized the enterprise connectivity in the outdoor service. This could optimize the performance for a constant live presence.
- Wir haben AWS-Cloud-/Edge-Resources for Rendering and Translation Pipelines in Echtzeit integriert, sodass Avatare mit minimaler Verzögerung auf Endgeräte übertragen werden können.

- Netzwerkorientierte Leistungsoptimierung: Durch den Einsatz unter verschiedenen Netzwerksimulationen (2G bis 5G/NB-IoT) sind unsere Avatare besser an die Bedingungen der Unternehmenskunden in den Connectivity-Realitäten Indiens angepasst.
- Scalable global einsatzfähigkeit: Avatar with live translation and multi-language functions, allows the enterprise of Vi, multi-language target groups with presence, instead with statical videos.
- Einführung von Risk Warmer: The certificating and test environment in the labor (including ONEM2M-conformity) reduced the risk both for Vi- and also for enterprise customers, because interoperability, reliability and einsatzbereitschaft are guaranteed.
